Charging Your Inspiring® & Best Practices

Charging Your Ring

Your Inspiring® can take anywhere from 30-90 minutes to charge, depending on your battery level. Your ring battery level will be shown in the upper right-hand corner of the Home tab.

Proper charging ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Inspiring® smart ring. Follow these steps for the best charging experience:

Initial Charging
Connect your Inspiring® to the wireless charging dock.
Charge it for at least 2 hours the first time to ensure the battery is fully activated.

Charging Indicators
A slowly pulsing white light on the dock means your ring is charging.
A solid white light indicates the charging process is complete.
If you don’t see any light:
1. Ensure the ring is placed correctly on the charging dock.
2. Confirm the dock is connected to a power source.
3. Disconnect the dock, wait a few seconds, and reconnect it.

Important Tips
1. Keep the Dock Clean: Dust or debris on the charging dock can interfere with proper contact.

2. Avoid Overcharging: Disconnect the ring once fully charged to maintain battery health.

3. Temperature Matters: Charge your ring in a cool, dry place within the operating range of -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F).

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues while charging:
•. Check the alignment of the ring on the dock.
•. Try using a different power adapter or cable.
•. Reset the dock by unplugging it for 10 seconds before reconnecting.

Following these practices ensures your Inspiring® ring stays charged and ready to support your wellness journey.

What to Expect from Your Inspiring® Battery

On average, a fully charged ring will last 5-7 days. This can vary depending on several factors, such as the age of your ring, how often you make use of daytime features, and if you take naps throughout your day. Keep in mind that more battery will be used whenever your ring is actively collecting data from its LED and temperature sensors—for example, while using Live Heart Rate features.

Keep in mind that batteries are complex, and many variables can contribute to battery life and longevity. All rechargeable batteries are consumables and have a limited lifespan, so their capacity and performance will gradually decline with time.

Certain factors may lead to battery damage. They are listed below.

  • Making your ring connected to the power supply for a period of time greater than one week.
  • Charging while at maximum capacity for extended periods of time can reduce battery life substantially.
  • Long exposure to extreme temperatures (hot/freezing).
  • Allowing your ring’s battery to reach 0% can affect its longevity.
  • The USB power cord is intended to be supplied by an external 5Vdc supply that complies with IEC 62368-1 standard. The power available to the equipment should not exceed 15W after 3 seconds.
